The company applied the environmental management system as an integral part of an overall corporate management system. By realizing a 'Cleaner Production' - Eco Efficiency, the company set up Waste Water Treatment Plant in 1987 as part of the commitment.

The treated clean water from the waste water treatment plant is recycled for production process. Excess of treated clean water, after being ensure meet legislated requirement, is discharged into Surabaya River. Meanwhile the solid waste that has been produced is recycled as part of raw material for production process of duplex boards, egg tray and acoustic muffler.

Caustic Soda Liquid and Chloride Acid are other keys raw materials for paper making process. These products are used in the De-Inking process. While the excess output of these products and Sodium Hypo chloride are also been offered to other industrial sectors.
